Method

These squishy, sweet squares of loveliness are so delicious and the perfect way to enjoy Nutella!

Firstly, melt together the unsalted butter and white chocolate in a bowl in either the microwave or above a pan of boiling water. Melt slowly, stirring well to avoid burning the chocolate.

Next, spoon the Nutella into a microwaveable bowl and warm through for 1 minute or until it is a nice, soft consistency.

Whisk the eggs, light brown sugar and golden caster sugar on a high speed for 5 minutes or until the mixture has tripled in size.

Pour in the melted unsalted butter and white chocolate, continuing to whisk on a medium speed.

Carefully fold in the Homepride Plain Flour and baking powder to the mixture, being careful not to knock the air out.

Fold in the hazelnuts and white chocolate chips.

Pour this mixture into a 10” x 8” baking tin lined with greaseproof paper.

Spoon Nutella over the mixture and use a skewer to swirl it through a little, creating a nice pattern on the top.

Bake at 175C (fan assisted) for 30 minutes. Once baked, the blondie will be soft in the middle still, this is perfectly fine and adds to the gooeyness! Leave to cool completely and firm up in the tin.

Once completely cooled, turn the blondie slab out of the tin.

To top, warm a little more Nutella and drizzle over the blondie slab. Sprinkle on chopped hazelnuts and white chocolate shavings. Leave to set.

Cut into squares and enjoy! Once made, these will last for 5 days in an airtight tin.
