Mix together the softened butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy in texture.
Add in the eggs and milk. Now mix again.
Finally add in the flour, cocoa and baking powder. Mix until you have a yummy cake batter.
Rub a little butter into the doughnut mould. Put the batter into a piping bag and pipe a ring of batter around the donut shape.
Place on a baking tray and cook at 160 fan for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.
Leave to cool completely then remove by gently twisting the cake until it releases.
In a bowl add in the icing sugar and milk. Mix until you have an icing paste.
Add in a few drops of colour and stir with a cocktail stick until barely mixed and marbled. Dip the doughnut in the icing. The icing will naturally drip a little. Before it sets, sprinkle on some love hearts and sprinkles.
